Terms of Use - SnapPile
Last updated: August 14, 2026
Welcome to SnapPile (“SnapPile”, “the App”). SnapPile is a dedicated screenshots app for iPhone and iPad developed by Fairese LLC.
By downloading, installing, or using SnapPile, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. App Purpose
SnapPile helps you import, browse, search, describe, tag, and organize screenshots and screen recordings.
The App may provide features such as:
- a dedicated screenshot gallery,
- albums and smart albums,
- screenshot metadata,
- recognized text and generated descriptions,
- tags and search filters,
- Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, or App Intents integrations,
- and optional iCloud sync.
SnapPile is intended for personal organization and productivity. You are responsible for the screenshots, videos, files, labels, descriptions, and other content you add to or create with the App.
2. License
Fairese LLC grants you a limited, non-transferable license to use SnapPile on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and the App Store usage rules.
This license does not allow you to:
- copy, modify, or redistribute the App,
- rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or commercially resell access to the App,
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App’s source code,
- remove copyright, trademark, or ownership notices,
- or use SnapPile in a way that violates applicable law.
3. Your Content
You retain ownership of screenshots, screen recordings, tags, descriptions, albums, smart albums, captions, and other content you create or import into SnapPile.
You are responsible for making sure you have the right to store, organize, share, or export any content you use with SnapPile. SnapPile does not give you rights to screenshots or media that belong to someone else.
If you export, share, or otherwise distribute content from SnapPile, you are responsible for that action and for complying with any applicable laws or third party rights.
4. Local Data and iCloud
SnapPile stores app data on your device and may use iCloud to keep your SnapPile library in sync across your own Apple devices.
iCloud sync is provided by Apple and is subject to Apple’s own terms and privacy policies. Fairese LLC does not control iCloud availability, iCloud storage limits, Apple ID access, or Apple account restrictions.
You are responsible for maintaining your Apple ID, iCloud settings, backups, device storage, and any exported copies of your data.
5. Content Analysis and System Features
SnapPile may analyze screenshots to make them easier to search and organize. For example, the App may recognize text, generate descriptions, detect metadata, or assign tags.
Some analysis features may use Apple’s on-device technologies or Apple’s Private Cloud Compute when Apple Intelligence needs additional processing to complete a request. These features are provided through Apple technologies and are subject to Apple’s applicable terms and privacy protections.
SnapPile may also integrate with Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, App Intents, and other iOS features. You are responsible for how you configure and use those system features.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use SnapPile to:
- violate the law,
- store or distribute content you do not have the right to use,
- harass, threaten, or harm others,
- attempt to bypass iOS, iCloud, or App Store restrictions,
- interfere with the App’s operation,
- reverse engineer or tamper with the App,
- or use automation, scripts, or other tools to abuse App functionality.
Fairese LLC may remove, restrict, or change features if they are used in a way that harms the App, its users, Apple services, or Fairese LLC.
7. Third-Party Services
SnapPile may depend on Apple services and technologies, including the App Store, iOS, iCloud, Photos, Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, App Intents, Apple Intelligence, and Private Cloud Compute.
These services are operated by Apple and are subject to Apple’s own terms, policies, availability, and technical limitations.
If SnapPile links to external websites or support tools, those services may have their own terms and privacy policies.
8. App Store Terms
These Terms are between you and Fairese LLC, not Apple. Fairese LLC is solely responsible for SnapPile and its content, except where Apple is responsible for services Apple provides under its own terms.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for SnapPile. Fairese LLC is responsible for App support as described on the SnapPile website or as required by applicable law.
If SnapPile fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price for the App, if any. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for SnapPile.
Fairese LLC, not Apple, is responsible for addressing claims relating to SnapPile or your possession and use of SnapPile, including product liability claims, regulatory claims, consumer protection claims, and intellectual property claims.
You represent and warrant that you are not located in a country or region subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated by the U.S. Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.
9. Purchases
If SnapPile offers paid downloads, in-app purchases, subscriptions, or other paid features, those purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Apple’s payment, cancellation, and refund policies apply. Fairese LLC cannot issue App Store refunds directly.
10. No Guarantees
SnapPile is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Fairese LLC does not guarantee:
- uninterrupted App operation,
- compatibility with every iOS version or device,
- permanent availability of every feature,
- loss-free local storage,
- loss-free iCloud sync,
- accuracy of generated descriptions, recognized text, tags, or metadata,
- or that SnapPile will meet every individual need.
You should keep appropriate backups of important data.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fairese LLC is not liable for:
- data loss,
- corrupted local storage,
- iCloud sync delays, conflicts, or failures,
- inaccurate recognized text, descriptions, tags, or metadata,
- loss of access caused by Apple ID, device, iOS, iCloud, or App Store issues,
- decisions made based on App-generated information,
- indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages,
- or damages arising from your use of or inability to use SnapPile.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.
12. Termination
You may stop using SnapPile at any time by uninstalling the App.
Fairese LLC may restrict, suspend, or discontinue App features if you violate these Terms, applicable laws, Apple policies, or use the App in a harmful or abusive way.
13. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated as SnapPile evolves. When they are updated, the “Last updated” date will change.
Continued use of SnapPile after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
