Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 14, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what SnapPile uses, what it stores, and what it does not collect.
SnapPile is designed to keep your screenshot library private. The app does not track you, profile you, run ads, or sell or share your data.
1. How SnapPile Works
SnapPile is a dedicated screenshots app for iPhone and iPad. It helps you import, browse, search, describe, tag, and organize screenshots and screen recordings.
The SnapPile app does not:
- collect analytics,
- include advertising SDKs,
- track you across apps or websites,
- or sell or share your data.
SnapPile does not require a Fairese account, and Fairese does not operate a backend service that receives your SnapPile library.
2. Local App Data
SnapPile stores its library data on your device.
This may include:
- screenshots and screen recordings you import into SnapPile,
- thumbnails and previews,
- generated descriptions,
- recognized text,
- tags,
- captions,
- albums and smart albums,
- favorites,
- search metadata,
- source app and device metadata,
- file information,
- and app settings.
This data stays on your device unless you enable iCloud sync or otherwise choose to export or share content using system features.
3. Content Analysis
SnapPile may analyze screenshots so it can make them easier to search and organize. For example, SnapPile may generate descriptions, recognize text, detect useful metadata, or assign tags that help you find screenshots later.
Most content analysis happens on device and is used to power SnapPile features inside the app.
Some analysis features may use Apple’s Private Cloud Compute when the device needs help from Apple Intelligence to complete a request. Private Cloud Compute is designed by Apple so requests are processed for the feature you asked for and are not made available to Fairese LLC. When this happens, the processing is handled by Apple according to Apple’s privacy and security protections for Private Cloud Compute.
4. iCloud Sync
SnapPile can use iCloud to keep your SnapPile library in sync across your own Apple devices.
iCloud sync is handled through Apple services and your Apple ID. Data synced through iCloud is transferred between your devices and Apple according to Apple’s own iCloud and privacy policies.
Fairese LLC does not receive your iCloud data, cannot read your synced SnapPile library, and does not have access to your Apple ID, iCloud account, or iCloud credentials.
If iCloud is unavailable or disabled, SnapPile can continue to store data locally on your device.
5. Photos Access
SnapPile may request access to your Photos library so you can import screenshots or screen recordings into SnapPile.
This permission is used only to let you choose and manage the screenshots or videos you want to use with SnapPile. SnapPile does not upload your Photos library to Fairese LLC or to any other third party.
If you deny Photos access, parts of SnapPile that depend on importing media from Photos may not be available.
6. Siri, Search, and System Features
SnapPile may integrate with system features such as Siri, Shortcuts, Spotlight, or App Intents so you can find screenshots more easily.
These integrations are powered by information SnapPile provides to iOS from your local library. Fairese LLC does not receive your Siri requests, Spotlight queries, or system search activity.
Apple may process system feature usage according to your device settings and Apple’s privacy policies.
7. Diagnostics and Crash Reports
The SnapPile app does not include third-party analytics or tracking frameworks.
Apple may provide anonymous crash reports or diagnostics if you have enabled sharing diagnostics with app developers in iOS settings. These reports are handled by Apple and do not include your full screenshot library.
If you disable iOS analytics sharing, Fairese LLC does not receive these diagnostic reports.
8. Support
If you contact Fairese for support, we may receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, screenshots, logs, or other details you include in your request.
Support information is used only to respond to your request and troubleshoot the issue you reported.
9. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as SnapPile evolves. If the app’s data handling changes in a meaningful way, this page will be updated to reflect those changes.
